Biography:
Dr. McKay is a life resident of Lewiston in the Niagara Region of New York State. After graduating from high school and serving in the Armed Forces, he went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. Dr. McKay had an early interest in the natural healing arts, even putting himself through school by working as an orderly in various hospitals and nursing homes. His quest for natural health care led him to the field of chiropractic and this in turn to obtain a degree at Northwestern College of Chiropractic as a Doctor of Chiropractic. As a researcher and practitioner, Dr. McKay has spent over 30 years in the field of natural medicine. Dr. McKay focuses his continued research on energy medicine and nutrition.

Dr. McKay and his wife Nancy, a Massage Therapist, share the same philosophy. They practice together at their office Lewiston Chiropractic and Massage, Energetic Health in Lewiston. They have two sons, Douglas and Donald Monteleone, who are also chiropractors. They currently have 6 grandchildren.

Philosophy:
Our body is meant to be healthy and is designed to take care of itself. All true healing comes from within. Stress (whether physical, mental, emotional, or chemical) is the leading cause of ill health which dictates the need for outside intervention.

Special Talents:
Dr. McKay has the unique ability to be able to detect and treat stress in the musculoskeletal system. As many of his long time patients can attest, not only can they tell where their pain is, but he can too. This remarkable ability affords his patients the opportunity to be treated as a unique individual. He has treated many conditions where patients thought there was no hope.
